Beginning of Ayurvedic Education
Ayurvedic Education began as a Patshala founded by eminent scholars, led by Vaidya Jeevan Ram Bhat of Jaipur (Bhat tradition).

First Expansion

Royal Patronage
Granted state patronage, renamed Maharaja Sanskrit College, with Ayurveda established as an independent department.

Integrated Scholarship
Ayurveda flourished alongside other Indological disciplines within a unified academic framework.

Institutional Independence
Ayurvedic education separated to form dedicated institution with focused academic identity.

New Campus
Shifted to Madhav Vilas Palace and renamed Government Ayurvedic College, Jaipur.

National Recognition
Upgraded by the Government of India as a premier institute for advanced Ayurvedic education and research.
